Colorful illustrations in various hues Not all primary colors There is a shortage of please , excuse me , and thank you which is probably in line with true monster manners I added a few here in there while I was reading it I liked that it was simple and too the point and didn t contain any extra fluff I especially liked that they didn t waste paper on the endpapers I hate paying for those The last page of the book is actually on the inside of the back cover I also like that it compliments Monster Needs One More without being about the exact same monsters Although they may be the same ones I didn t really compare them page by page. This is a charming picture book that is filled with a variety of bright, and fun monsters Unfortunately, all of these monsters are misbehaving in some way, whether it s that they re crabby or selfish It is very much intended for a younger audience, I d say in the 2 6 range, though my 7 year old enjoyed reading it out loud to me Read. Colors abound in this short picture book in which the audience is in charge of a group of rowdy monsters If a monster is noisy, children can tell him to be quiet If a monster is selfish, children can tell him to take turns Storytime crowds will love the chance to tell monsters to sit still and go to sleep and parents will appreciate that this book introduces a fun way to talk to their kids about manners and other social situations including bullying What I love best about this book, is what usually grabs my attention when it comes to picture books bold, bright, and fun illustrations This was a cute little short book by Natalie Marshall I read it first and then shared it with my children to see if they enjoyed it as well It is a book that can be easily read by a child to a parent telling the reader to not be scared of the monsters I liked how she assured the young reader that they were safe and in charge of the monsters I will look for other books by Author Marshall for me and my children to enjoy and recommend to others 4 StarsCarmela This is a short story about how to act and treat others when they act certain ways The pictures are large and colorful and the text is short, which makes it an excellent read for children who are very young and starting to understand manners It would be a great way to encourage them to act with respect. July 2019 cute, but not memorable. Ok, what I like the pictures, the simplicity, appropriate for very young children Scare the monster back What I don t like good , some of the other commands seems a little off But I think that just depends on your family Could be a fun one to read at storytime as there s probably little something for everyone.
