The last book of Rocky Mountain Legacy , is a great finality of the love that grows between Abbie and her second husband, Cole, after she becomes a widow She has a son already and an adopted niece to raise, but allows herself to fall in love with someone who has loved her always Abbie trusts Cole to run the ranch, take care of her and oversee her neice, but it is much harder for her to lend her first husband s son and trust him with all her heart to protect him since his father succumbed to death while with Cole during the steer roundup Another young woman also comes into their home who has lived a rough life with no one to teach her any morals Abbie befriends her but it takes a while before Birdie can accept giving and receiving love without payment, One of the best parts of this book is when Abbie s sister in law, Marcy, who is married to her brother, finally is able to get rid of her bitterness and jealousy towards Abbie through many years As Abbie s love grows along with her trust and compassion, Marcy is able to see what true abiding love is from Abbie, Cole and even Abbie s little son who loves Marcy s invalid baby A great series and I enjoyed it very much

I am sad to say farewell to this wonderful and engaging series, not to mention it s characters I just finished Book 5 and I am left with a happy, content and peaceful feeling A wonderful conclusion This is a series I will not only recommend, but one I plan to read again in the future Book 5 is filled with all the drama, action, romance and good truths that have been scattered all throughout this series This was another page turner Sorry, I am just in such a happy and mellow place after finishing this book, that I am at a loss for all the right words But suffice it to say, that yes, there are hardships yes, there are losses and gains yes, there is love and sacrifice and yes, there is a good ending, but also, so much Read this series and fly through many emotions, truths and come away as I did well pleased and thoughtful Bravo, Kristen Heitzmann on a well done book and series Many thanks Four and a half Stars

This series culminates into a wondrous ending that s bittersweet for me The ending is perfect I love how it all wraps up nicely and ties in with the title of Honor s Reward However, I am always so sad to say goodbye to the beloved characters Cole and Abbie will forever be my faves And poor, brave little Jenny has such a way of burrowing into one s heart It s amazing to look back over the series and see how much Abbie has matured A great coming of age series that instills Christian teaches and how we must mature as Christian throughout lifeJust love this series so much Five stars will forever be my rating for each and every one of them These are the types of characters that live on within you no matter how many other books you read.

This was an easy and interesting series to read, with lots of unexpected twists and turns After the first or second book I was trying to figure out who the main character reminded me of She was very independent and not your traditional girl for the time She was also always getting into trouble in one way or another Then it hit me that she was kind of like Bella in Twilight how trouble found her, over and over again.Anyway, there was a major twist with one of the characters maybe it was in the third book that totally surprised me It changed how I expected things to go, but there was no way there could have been five books if it hadn t happened as it was by the fifth I was wanted things to move along a bit faster.

I m sad that the series is over I hope that there might be some in the future Such awesome read.

Abbie is headstrong, talented, and beautiful What else do you want in a protagonist Placed in the scenic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this series is a good read I don t own the series, but I always check them out from the library if they re there and I m in the mood.

I wish the author had just married Abby and Cole in book 1 and kept it at 3 books in the series It was way too long and convoluted a series with 5 books.
